The Sacajawea Center is looking for input from the community, so we created a survey! It has been a few years since the last time information was collected and the Center is looking for feedback about how it can better serve the community through its mission. The mission of the Sacajawea Center is foster the knowledge and appreciation of the Agaidika Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, the Lewis & Clark Expedition, Western frontier life, and the natural environment. We do this by maintain the interpretive center onsite, providing ancestral living skills classes throughout the summer, providing a space for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes to hold their annual Agaidika Gathering, and partnering with the Lemhi County Historical Society and Museum to bring you Lemhi County History Month in June, among other things.
Are we providing the right kinds of programs? What do you think our priorities should be onsite? How could we better serve the community?
